Students at Invicta have a chance to take part in cross country during their PE lessons or as part of the POP running club on a Wednesday afternoon.
Cross country is a great way to test and improve their physical and mental strength, and can be for those students who have never run before to those who take part in running on a regular basis. For those who excel there is also the opportunity of representing the school as part of the cross country team. The team have enjoyed many successes over recent years, which has been achieved through their hard work and commitment to their sport.
In 2017 at the Maidstone Cross Country Championships the a student in Year 7 achieved 2nd position, while the Year 8/9 team achieved 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th positions and Year 10/11 teams won their events.
