Procedure in the event of bad weather
DJBET电竞菠菜人 www.wenzhousizu.com EMERGENCY PROCEDURE IF THE SCHOOL DOES NOT OPEN DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER.
If we are unable to open the school because of severe weather, we will endeavour to use our ‘Call Parent’ software to alert both students (via their parents) and staff. This will depend upon Internet access and mobile networks working effectively, so we need to have a backup system, and this consists of the following three main aspects. Staff, parents and students should do the following.
1. Listen to local radio: Heart (formerly Invicta FM) Radio Kent KMFM.
2. Look at the local radio websites.
3. Look at the school website and portals: we will post notices as long as the Internet and school network are working.
It is essential that every student knows what to do. All students should have details in their planners of what to do in the event of emergency closure. There is space provided in the planner for this, tutors will ensure in September that it is filled in. For Years 7 to 11, parents should sign the entry each year and tutors should check that this has been done.
